Double Ear Infection- Round 2

We just got home from the doctor for a 30 day check on Jacob's ears. I suspected that he had another ear infection and I was correct- he has another double ear infection. The doctor also thinks he has ring worm so we are treating that also!

Does this seem like a little boy with a double ear infection?

We are leaving tomorrow night to start driving down South for the 4th!!

Back to life

Don't get used to all the posting that I did last week. We are back from Vacation. We got home late Sunday night after a 15 hour drive. I flew to Maryland Monday afternoon and got home last evening. I'm leaving in the morning to South Carolina for Thursday afternoon/Friday and will be back home Friday night in time to kiss Jacob goodnite for bed.

We had a wonderful Vacation and I hated having to go back to work this week!

Wedding

The purpose of our vacation being this week was the fact that Matt's best friend was getting married today at the beach. It was a beautiful wedding. It was a sunrise (6am) wedding right on the beach- it could not have been more perfect.

Jacob thought it would be fun to wake up VERY early this morning and watch the sunrise. He woke up at 5:15 and we went and had a bottle on the beach and took some pictures as the sun came up.

NC Lighthouses

This afternoon we went to see 2 of the NC Lighthouses. Jacob had a great nap as we drove down to Cape Hatteras and was happy to explore once we got there.

Tomorrow the guys are going fishing so Jacob & I are going to hang out at the beach and maybe go shopping.

Uncle Matt & Savannah

Uncle Matt & Savannah came to see us at the Beach for a few days. They have to leave this afternoon but we have had a great time hanging out with them!

Great Granny Lucy

On Tuesday afternoon, we went to Hampton to allow Jacob to meet his Great Granny Lucy, Great Aunt Debbie & Great Uncle Barry. It was a fun but short visit.

Jacob was a bit more adventurous at the beach yesterday. He seemed to like the water until a huge (well not really huge) wave came and got us pretty good and covered him with sand.




Matt and Savannah playing in the ocean. Matt enjoyed having someone to goof around with in the ocean. It was too cold for me to go in past my knees.

Beach

We had a great first day hanging out at the beach. Jacob played in the sand a little bit. He didn't like the water at first. The water was very cold so he only got his feet wet.

New Pictures

We have been really busy around here getting caught up on work, being sick and getting ready for Vacation. We are leaving at some point today once the grass is cut, the house is picked up and we are packed!

Jacob was playing all by himself this morning while I worked on getting us packed! (That is what the mess is in the background- no my laundry basket did not blow up)

Antibiotics

Both Jacob & I are now on antibiotics. Jacob has a double ear infection and I have sinusitis, tonsillitis & rhinitis (not sure if I agree with this one) but I did get some drugs so hopefully I will get better.

This will give Jacob & I all week on the meds before we leave for the beach!!

Off to Toronto- a bit late but none the less, I'm still going.

Still Sick....

Well I thought Jacob was feeling better. He did good for a few days... I was out of town at the end of the week and Matt thought he felt warm on Thursday/Friday, Saturday- he was running a low fever (under 100), and today he had yet another fever (over 100) so we are going to call the doctor in the morning and get him checked out.

I am supposed to be in Toronto tomorrow after lunch for a meeting then a conference for the next few days. I'm not going to leave at 5 am with a sick baby- I'll leave tomorrow night depending on what the doctor says. I'm still sick too (maybe I'll go see a doctor before I go out of town too)

We are leaving for Vacation on Saturday and we all need to be healthy!!
