Jacob has known how to spell his name for a while now. This morning while we were doing puzzles, he spelled his name on the floor with puzzle pieces!!

Haircut!!

Jacob got his haircut a week or so ago and the stylist spiked up the front... isn't it adorable?

Jacob's bed

Jacob has decided that he no longer likes his bed. Yesterday he slept on the floor for both is nap and the entire night. We are going to give it a few more days to see if it is a phase or we need to shop for a big kid bed for him.

1st Baseball game

We took Jacob to his first baseball game last night. There was a huge threat of rain. It has rained some before the game but we drove toward the stadium and the weather seemed ok. We really didn't think Jacob would make it more than an hour or so. So, we braved the weather and went.
It did rain for a few minutes so we walked around during that time. It ended up being a great night to go. It was not very crowded and it was cool outside. Jacob had so much fun!!
Jacob LOVED the Dragons from FAR AWAY. He wanted to watch for them all the time and to go see them but when it came down to it, he didn't want to get too close. I got him to agree to a picture if I stood between him and the Dragon. By the time dad took the picture, he had seen her enough and was ready to not stand so close.
Jacob did so well at the game that we stayed for Fireworks at the end. He asked to leave about half way through them. When we got to the car, he said he didn't like them because he could not see the Dragons (They turned the stadium lights off and it was dark on the field)

*Sorry for the crummy pictures- they were taken with my cell phone.
