Poppy got Jacob his first fishing pole yesterday. He has not been fishing yet but soon Poppy and Daddy are planning to take him. He did have a lot of fun practicing in Poppy's back yard.

Trip to Greensboro

Yesterday while in Greensboro, we went to the Greensboro Children's Museum. As always, Jacob had a great time.

He played in a train.

They were having a Match box car exhibit and Jacob picked out a car to race and they let him keep the car once he was done racing it.

Wahoo!! Our car won!!

Jacob also enjoyed playing in "Nonnie's House" Here he is carefully carrying the eggs.

and washing the dishes!!
Pretending to eat some corn...

Once he was done playing in the kitchen, Jacob and Daddy went to build a fort!! He had to put his hard hat on to ensure he was safe.

It was such a beautiful day outside!!

Granddad

We took Jacob to Greensboro on Saturday to spend the day with Granddad. As you can see, everyone had a blast!!

Jacob was so worn out that he was asleep 5 min after leaving and didn't move the entire drive home.

King/Queen Day at School

Jacob was SO excited when he got to school on Thursday and realized that is was King/Queen day!!

Yia-Yia's 60th Birthday

Jacob & I went to Asheboro yesterday to spend the night at Yia-Yia's to celebrate her 60th birthday with the girls at the Spa.

The boys were excited for some cake- although Jacob settled for Animal Crackers instead.

Jacob convinced everyone to read him books...

And he got to spend a lot of time with Uncle Nicky!! Uncle Nicky stayed home with the boys while the girls went to the spa!!

They boys played so well together and had so much fun!! I think Uncle Nicky is going to sleep well tonight!!

Dum-Dum

Jacob had his "first" sucker today (I'd like to believe it was his first- but we all know how those Grandparents are)

Doesn't his haircut look great? Great job Daddy!!

Stickers

Jacob has started to enjoy playing with stickers. He likes to sit on the stool in the kitchen and play with his sticker books while I cook dinner.

Jacob had been refusing to get his hair cut and as you can see he was looking very shappy!!

But Matt was successful in getting him a haircut last weekend while I was out of town.
