First Black Eye

Jacob got his first black eye a few weeks ago at school.  They were hitting blocks (why I'm not sure) and he took a block to the eye.  He ended up with a pretty good shinner. 

Spider Man

Jacob got to meet Spider Man.  He come home from school telling me that Spider Man was going to be at the baseball game and we must go!!!  Once I confirmed when he was going to be there... we went and Jacob loved it.  Spider Man ran out on the field once and then Jacob got to meet him and get his picture taken!!  He LOVED it!!

Slip & Slide Saturday

The weather was great on Saturday so the kids played on the slip & slide while the guys worked on building a fence at the neighbors house.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!! We had a great Easter at home this year. We had 2 birthday parties on Saturday followed by Sunday afternoon at the lake.

We dyed Easter eggs for the first time this year. Jacob LOVED it!!

Poppy came over to deliver an Easter basket to Jacob that included Bunny Ears. Jacob didn't want to wear them but Poppy looked cute in them!!

The Easter Bunny left the goodies on the kitchen table!!

And Jacob was thrilled to find them Sunday morning!!

One of the hits was a Captain America Shield.

Poor Little One

Jacob caught a very short lived virus this week. I was called Wednesday at 2 pm to pick him up from school as he had already vomited twice. As we were walking out the door he puked all over me as I was holding him. Thankfully, the school lent us a bucket to use on the drive home (he didn't need it)


He continued to vomit multiple times. He took a short nap... but never too far from his bucket.

He told me he was ready for bed at 6:45 pm. Woke up with a fever around 2 am. Woke up for the day before 6 am and was perfectly fine on Thursday. I had to travel on Thursday so, thankfully, Poppy was able to spend the day with Jacob since he couldn't go back to school until Friday!

Circus

The circus was in town over the weekend. This was our 2nd year taking Jacob and he LOVED it. Matt and his dad have gone every year since he was little so I am happy that they let me in on the tradition. I'm not sure which one of the guys had more fun!!

Several of the kids are coloring during nap time as they wake up. Jacob was finished coloring and was reading books. Then Morgan woke up, and Jacob hopped up pulled the chair out for her and pushed her chair in. That was sooooo adorable. Just had to share that!
