Sleep Habits

I'm really thinking that we need to work on Jacob's sleep habits! He sleeps great but I want him to sleep later!! Last night he fell asleep on the way home from the mall around 5pm. When we got home I layed him in his crib (fully dressed) thinking he would wake back up in a bit. I never heard a peep out him until 4:30 this morning. Yes, this was 11.5 hours of sleep for him but now we have been up playing since 4:30 am! Yesterday mornng he was up by 5 am, but he did take a nap at 7:30... I'm hoping that we both can take a nap this morning before 7:30 am.

Pumpkin Patch & Hayride

Today I took Jacob out to Suton Farms for a hayride and to pick out a pumpkin. We had a blast!

This week!

Matt started his new job yesterday and it is going great so far! He knows that this position is going to be a great opportunity for him. He is in Atlanta for 2 weeks then will come home for the weekend of my birthday then goes back to Atlanta for 3 more weeks.

We made an offer on a new house in Charlotte. We should close in about 30 days once the financing is complete (keeping our fingers crossed since our house in OH has not sold yet). Matt will be in Ohio for a few weeks in November so probably won't move until around Thanksgiving.

Now... we just need to keep our fingers crossed that our house in OH will sell very quickly!!

I will probably be putting up a lot of pictures for the next few weeks for Matt!!

Cruise

Matt & I had a great time on our Cruise. We had planned on going to San Diego this week but when Matt quit his job, his company cancelled the plane tickets that they had purchased for us to attend an award conference for Matt in San Diego. So spur of the moment, we booked a cruise out of Miami to Key West and Cozumel. We did see some rain but overall the weather was great.

A resort "El Cid" at Cozumel. We hung out here on Wednesday- ate lunch, swam and snorkeled.

Our sweet little boy at Grandma's this morning (who we miss like crazy) Jacob has been an angel while staying with Grandma. So much so that she is going to keep him one more day so we don't have to haul him all over Charlotte tomorrow looking at houses. We are going to pick him up on Saturday afternoon.

Jacob is excited about coming to NC next weekend to spend the week with Grandma. Mom & Dad are excited about going to San Diego for the week alone!

House Update: We have 2 (maybe 3) scheduled showings for this evening.... Keep your fingers crossed!!

So I got a picture of them standing at the window. Jacob loves standing and looking out the window. Everytime someone comes over Matt has to clean Jacob's finger/mouth marks off the window.
