Aquarium- Myrtle Beach, SC

On Friday we took a break from the beach to check out the Aquarium. We had fun... although I think Jacob would have rather been taking a nap. He fell alseep on the way there and was a bit tired as we checked out the fish!!

Jacob is having SO much fun at the beach. We are playing in the sand and running up and down the beach!!

Family Kingdom

Last night we met my childhood BFF and her family at Family Kingdom so the kids could play. They had a blast and Jacob was fearless and rode everything that he was able to..

Summer was driving while the little ones rode in the back!!

I think this might have been one of Jacob's favorite. The car went slow until it got to the end of the track then it whipped around the corner real fast. Jacob giggled the entire time. Summer ensured that he held on the entire ride!!

The kids got to ride with another little girl on this ride so she wouldn't have to ride alone.

The canoe ride was a lot of fun also!!

I'm glad that the motorcycle had a good strap on it. By the end of the ride, Jacob's bottom was half off and the strap was holding him on!!

Jacob LOVES airplanes. He was super excited when he saw this and knew he would get to ride in one. Luckily Summer knew how to make the plane go up and down for the little ones!!

The swings were fun too!!

I'm glad that we were able to meet up with Angie and her family- The kids had a blast playing together!!

SHARK!!

Matt went out on the Pier to go fishing last night after Jacob & I went to bed. He accidently caught a 3 -4 lb hammer head shark.

Filling Station & The Arcade

Tonight we went down to Myrtle to eat dinner at The Filling Station. Jacob had a blast. He loved the pizza, the buss boy and the Chocolate pizza.

After we ate dinner we went to the Arcade so Matt could teach Jacob how to play his all time favorite arcade game of baseball.

Jacob also played Skee-Ball and as you can tell from the smile on his face- he loved it!!

We took a stroll on the board walk also.

Worn Out

Jacob plays SO hard during the day that he is completely worn out by the end of the day. He has been sleeping great during his naps and also at night. We have not gotten up before 8 am this week!!

Fun Fun Fun...

We had fun playing on the beach today!! Jacob loved it. I can't wait until tomorrow morning so we can hit the beach again!! I'm sure he is going to sleep well tonight!!

Cherry Grove Beach, SC

We made it safely to the beach yesterday- after getting settled in and grabbing a bite to eat for
dinner/lunch- we are all so worn out that we didn't check out the beach until this morning.

Our condo is a corner unit so we have great views up the beach and the waterway across the street.


This is the other building that is part of our resort that is located across the street. They have pools at both locations. Jacob and I checked out the pool this morning and the water was freezing but he didn't seem to mind.

Sidewalk Chalk

We spent some time outside today playing and Jacob got into his sidewalk chalk and loved it!! He was covered in chalk when we got done but he had a great time!!

I found Jacob a gently used Train Table yesterday for a great price so Matt & I went and picked it up today at lunch. Jacob LOVED it!! Now he has a great place to play trains in his room!!

He had to take a break to wrestle with daddy tonight too!!

Dan Nicholas Park- Salisbury

Today we headed up to Salisbury to check out Dan Nicholas Park. We had a blast!! The weather was threatening some rain but it never rained while we were there! There was so much to do and Jacob loved every minute of it!!

We rode the train and Jacob giggled and said "wee" the entire ride!!

We got to check out all sorts of animals!!

Jacob walked all over the park and was completely worn out. He fell asleep for about 10 min on the way home and didn't want to Nap once we got home (although he did have a rest period in his crib for over an hour when we got home) He is sleeping well tonight!!
