Family Photo Shoot

Family photo shoot on the beach. While we were at the beach for Thanksgiving we did a family photo shoot with the hopes of getting one good photo for our Christmas Cards. We actually got several good shots. Here are some of the better ones!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! Here are a few pictures from my phone from the weekend!!

He took one bit of the green beans and said they were yuck (They looked yuck to me too- I didn't eat any either) and he would not try the turkey but he found a slice of Chocolate Cake that seemed to hit the spot!!

After lunch, we all laid down for a nap. Jacob and I fell asleep at about 4:30 pm watching a movie. He woke up the next morning. I was SHOCKED when he never woke back up and slept all night!!

We went for a walk on the pier to watch people fishing!!

We also played on the beach some too!!

Happy Birthday Jacob!!

Happy 3rd Birthday to my baby!! We had such a wonderful day!! We woke up and immediately Jacob wanted to open presents!! We did one before breakfast. We made pancakes for breakfast then opened the rest of them. We spent the day hanging out at the house playing with his new toys. Granddaddy spent the night and left after lunch, Yia-Yia stopped by for a few minutes, Poppy, Aunt Faye and Uncle Bob came over for cake!

Granddaddy picked out the same car that we got Jacob. Luckily we realized it prior to Jacob opening his gifts and I had already bought a few Christmas gifts so I quickly hid the car we got him and wrapped up something else instead. I'll take back the car this week!

Yia-Yia stopped by for a few min to see Jacob open up his new basketball goal! This should be a fun indoor winter activity!

We tested it out inside tonight but tomorrow it will become an outside toy.

Elmo Cake- if you remember we had an Elmo cake last year as well. Jacob went with me to the store to pick out a new pan for this year (I wanted to do Mickey Mouse) so I pointed out a few cake pans for him to choose from (fire truck, Mickey Mouse, Buzz Light Year) and he saw the Elmo pan and cheered with delight that he wanted Elmo. Elmo it is then (and he saved me $14.99 since I already had the pan from last year)

Birthday Weekend

We had planned on taking Jacob to Monkey Joe's to celebrate his birthday! On the way to lunch, we found a pony ride. Jacob had a good time!!

He chose Ci-Ci's for lunch. After lunch we went to Monkey Joe's. Granddaddy came down for the weekend too!! Jacob had a blast playing at Monkey Joe's and I'm sure he will sleep well tonight!!

Fun on the Ship

Cozumel, Mexico

We had planned to go swimming on one of the beaches while in Cozumel, but when we arrived it was a bit chilly and really windy!! All of the beaches had Red Flags up (no swimming) due to the water so rough. We ended up walking to another dock area and found some great shopping. We thought it was a lot closer than it ended up being. We walked and walked and walked... Jacob was in a carrier on my back... After we finally got there, we took a taxi back when we got done shopping.
