I am currently 7 weeks. Morning sickness kicked in this past Tuesday! I was in Toronto all week for work. I woke up Tuesday morning and vomited immediately. I vomited until Friday and now that I'm home I'm feeling somewhat better! I don't feel great but I'm not throwing up at least.

Matt could not keep it a secret at work any longer so he spilled the beans last week. I still have not told my work (except my bosses) since I'm going to the doctor 45 min from my office and can't sneak away on my lunch break! Both old and new boss are very excited for us!!

Wednesday is our first Ultrasound! We should be able to see the heartbeat! I will attempt to post pictures of the ultrasound. Our scanner is still boxed up but I will try to sneak the pictures to work and scan them after hours!! I will post more after the ultrasound!

First Doctor Appointment- 5w4d

I had my 1st Doctor Appointment today! It went well- very uneventfull! They took lots of blood (5 tubes) and did an exam. She said everything looked good and the exam dated my pregnancy the same as we thought EDD 11/9. My first ultrasound will let us know if she is going to change the EDD.

My first Ultrasound is in 2 weeks. It is scheduled for 3/28 at 3:30pm. Hopefully Matt will be able to attend this appointment with me!!

I'm still feeling good for the most part- I have had a bit of Nausea today so I'm guessing it will hit me soon enough!

We are Pregnant!!

On Wednesday, February 28th, we found out that we are expecting our first baby. Unfortunately Matt was out of town on business. I thought I could hold it in until he got home on Friday but that only lasted until I got off work. We agreed that we would not tell anyone until after my first doctor appointment. That lasted until Thursday after work. I called my dad to tell him then of course I had to email Melissa to tell her the good news. My dad is very excited be become a Grandpa.

Friday when Matt got home, we called his mom. She cried and was overly joyed. She thinks our kid is going to call her "YA-YA" instead of Grandma but I don't think Matt is going to allow that to happen. Next we called Matt's Dad. His is very excited to become a Grandpa for the first time.

We are excited beyond belief that we are pregnant! Per the Internet my Estimated Due Date is 11/9. My first doctor appointment is scheduled for 3/13.

So far I am feeling pretty good. I am tired and have been going to bed early so I can get all of the sleep that I need. Matt is doing good helping out with all of the household chores!
