Kindermourn Hope Float Duck Race @ US National Whitewater Center

This afternoon we headed out to the US National Whitewater Center to watch the Hope Floats Duck Race to Support Kindermourn. It was a fun afternoon and the sun seemed to much warmer there than at our house before leaving.

Jacob was WORN out when we left... he has not had a nap all day. We assumed (and were wrong) that he might fall asleep on the way home. He didn't so we stopped for Pizza on the way home instead. He is still going strong, but Daddy is taking a cat nap on the couch!! Hopefully this means he will fall asleep early tonight and should sleep good!!

Indian Land Elementary/Middle School Spring Festival

We took Jacob to the Indian Land Elementary/Middle School Spring Festival yesterday. This is where he will go to school (if we actually live in the same house) It was a great day filled with a TON of Bounce Houses. No matter where we go to play on a Bounce House, Jacob always seems to find a older little girl to play with him and help him if he can't climb up my himself. He never needs help coming down but it seems the little girls like having him sit on their lap coming down the slide.

They also had a train we could ride. Matt lucked out and didn't have to ride. Jacob loved it but it was awful!! The driver drove in a snake motion as we went down the road behind the school- We were riding backwards to it made it just that much worse.

Fishing

We took Jacob fishing for the first time today!! We caught 3 fish!!

Jacob did very well at reeling the line in.

Poppy had to help him with his cast.

Jacob is doing real well with his counting. He can count to 10. I did get him on video of him counting to 6 tonight,

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We went to Asheboro on Saturday afternoon.

The Easter bunny came to see Jacob and left him some suckers!!

The Easter Bunny aslo brought Jacob a T-Ball set and Jacob had a lot of fun playing it after Church.

Easter Egg Hunt Playdate!!

We went to a Easter Egg Hunt Playdate this afternoon!! Jacob LOVED it!! He had so much fun!!
