4th Birthday Party

We had Jacob's 4th Birthday Party yesterday at Monkey Joe's. Jacob had a blast. We invited both friends from school and the neighborhood. We had 14 kids (including Jacob).

After the party we had a few people back to the house for lunch and playing with presents!!

Happy Halloween

Jacob had SO much fun last night trick or treating!! It was our first real experience going. He loved it. We went with his buddy next door and those guys trucked all over the neighborhood until their buckets were filled to the brim with candy!!

We spread out the loot when we got home to really see how much stuff he got!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

We had a great weekend celebrating Matt's 35th birthday!! Jacob and I got up early Sunday and made him a yummy cake! Jacob loved licking the mixer!!

Matt got a new grill for his birthday so we cooked burgers on the grill and celebrated with some friends.

Hoover Dam/ Lake Mead

I'm so far behind on updating pictures but wanted to share a few pictures from our trip today to the Hoover Dam/ Lake Mead area. We had a great day trip and the views were amazing!!

Fun aboard the ship

We had so much fun no matter where we were on the ship. Jacob LOVED dancing wiht the waiters at dinner.

He tested out his lifejackt and even had his face painted like a pirate.

At dinner, our waiter made him a hat out of a napkin.

As you can see, he REALLY loved the towel animals in our room every night.

Dancing again... he took every opportunity to get up and dance. They did a congo line one night and he was the first one in the line ready to go!!

He ate brownies every.single.night for desert.

We had some wonderful table mates and Jacob had a buddy to eat/play with every night.

At camp, he got dressed up like a bunny! He even got to color his new shirt!

Waterslides on the ship = Lots of fun for ALL

We all LOVED the waterslides on the ship. They had a few slides that Jacob could do and some big slides that Matt & I enjoyed.

Cruise Vacation!!

We had a great time on our recent Cruise vacation!! Tropical Storm Maria gave us a bit of a headache but in the end we ended up going to all of our scheduled stops.

As you can see above, Jacob enjoyed eating some fruit loops (his first time eating cereal with milk and a spoon) for breakfast prior to heading out at our first stop in Nassau.

We scheduled a snorkeling trip. Jacob posed with the Frog while we were waiting.

Swim Lessons

Jacob started swim lessons today. We wanted to try it out so we are doing a mini-summer session. 4 days in a week. He will go M-Th this week. If all goes well, we will sign up for the Fall session, which is once a week for 11 weeks!

Jacob did so good for his first lesson! The pictures are a bit off b/c I was taking them through the window in the "parents room" where we wait during the class!
