Jacob has done amazing well with potty training. He picked up peeing really fast but had a few troubles with #2. A few weeks ago, we tried a new tatic. He wanted to go to Monkey Joes. We told him that everytime he pooped in the potty we would give him a dollar. If he pooped in his pants, he had to give us a dollar. Once he got $10, he could use that money to go to Monkey Joes. He started out slow...earned 2 dollars then had to pay us 2 dollars but has not looked back since. He finally earned his $10 on Friday (we didn't pay for daycare times) and we went to Monkey Joes on Sunday! He was so proud on the way to Moneky Joes. He carried his money all the way there and walked right up to the counter and paid the lady his money!
We are still wearing a pull up a night- he is rarely wet overnight but we are not ready to tackle that one yet.
We are so proud of how well he has done. I'm willing to fund one more trip to MJ's if needed. I'm not sure if he will need it or not, Saturday he told me he didn't need a $1 b/c he already had $10. I'm not sure if he will change that tune now that he has spent that $10!

Happy Valentine's Day
We had a bit of fun this morning celebrating Valentine's day with Jacob. We forgot to do Valentines for his friends before he went to bed last night so we did them this morning before school. His class is having a fun little party this afternoon.
We also let him open a little gift this morning before school...
He LOVES playing games, everything from board games to card games. He was so excited to open a new game this morning. We were running late (as usual) so we didn't have time to play it this morning so I'm sure it will be the first thing he wants to do when he gets home from school.
