Rainy Memorial Day

It rained just about ALL day today! All of our plans to play outside didn't happen!! So after nap time and dinner, Jacob was begging to go outside. So we went to play in puddles!! He had a blast!! We walked around the neighborhood and found all the good puddles!!

Haircut with NO Tears

I took Jacob to get his haircut today. Our last two haircuts consisted of one parent and one girl holding him and one girl giving him a 2 min cut with clippers while he cried his head off.

Today, I tried a different approach. I bribed him. If he didn't cry we could go get a new toy afterwards. He did great!! No tears!! He was very nervous sitting in there but he did great for about 10- 15 minutes. The guy used the clippers on the back and sides and cut the top normal!! I was SO proud of him for being a big boy!!


So as promised... we went to Wal-Mart to pick out a new toy!! He picked a toy to go with his play-doh!! He had fun playing with his new toy tonight after his nap!!

Riverbanks Zoo

Today Poppy & I took Jacob to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia!! We had a blast!!

We got to feed the giraffe's!!

We saw some elephants!!

School Pictures

Jacob recently had his pictures taken at school!! 2 out of 3 came out good!!

Early Mother's Day

I was invited to Jacob's school today to have lunch with him for Mother's day! We had a great lunch together!! When I picked up Jacob from school today, he had a bag of goodies for me. He did such a good job on all my gifts!! I especially love the sheet where he filled in the blanks!!

Great Blue Heron's

Dad told us about a very cool place up the street to go see some Great Blue Heron's. There were a ton of nest up in the tree's and they were feeding the babies!! Jacob loved watching them!!

Lunch with Big Bear

Jacob has been having Webster aka "Big Bear" eat with him at his table a lot lately. Aren't they cute?
