Summer of Fun!!

We have deceided to get the family season passes this year to Carowinds. I've done some research and there is about a dozen things that Jacob can ride this year with us and there will be a ton of fun that we can have at the waterpark. They open next weekend and we are so excited!! 2 visits will more than pay for the season pass so we know we will get our money worth!!

Plaza Fiesta

This afternoon we took Jacob to check out the playground at Plaza Fiesta. He loved it. It is a huge structure.

Matt got to spend the majority of the time with Jacob in the playground structure. I did do one climb with him....

Outside fun!!

The weather has been SO wonderful the last few days. Yesterday Jacob was able to play outside at Cheryl's (sitter). She sent me a few GREAT pictures this morning of his day.

It is hard to believe that we went from snow last week to 82 degrees this weekend!!

More Snow!!

We had about 4 inches of snow fall overnight. We spent a few minutes playing outside this morning.

We tried to get Jacob to do a Snow Angel but he was not going to have that. But he did play around a bit more than last time!

Gymboree Play & Music

Jacob & I have started attending a Gymboree class on Saturday mornings. It is SO much fun!!

Going to bed

Jacob has mastered climbing up the stairs. At night if he is ready for bed (before I put him in bed) he takes it upon himself to climb up the stairs to go to his bedroom.

Tonight... he climbed up and we put his jammies on. It was only 6:30 so I picked him up to go downstairs to play for a bit more and he shook his head and pointed to his bed. So we brushed his teeth and I put him in bed. Not a peep out of him.

He did a similar routine last week when I was out of town with Matt. Matt had forgotten to brush his teeth when he put him in the bed and he screamed until Matt realized and they brushed his teeth then he went straight to bed.

I think Jacob takes after me and likes to go to bed early. The only difference is I also like to sleep late!!

Walking...

Jacob has really started walking lately. He LOVES wearing shoes. He got mad at the sitter today when she tried to take them off for his nap. He ended up sleeping in his shoes!!
